Mom History Running.

I guess the title isn’t making a lot of sense to you, but it does to me. At least when you read todays “Daily Prompt” – so it’s not about my mom’s history of running really..

Write down the first words that comes to mind when we say . . .

. . . home.

. . . soil.

. . . rain.

Use those words in the title of your post.

MOM

When I first read the word home, I got the good feeling (not only because it’s friday and I have purple unicorns running in circles in my head! But,) it reminded me of when I lived at home – but lived far away… Well, my national register-adress was with my parents. My parents aren’t divorced I was always going home to my mom.. Never my dad.. To my mom! Even if he lives there as well.. But I was going home to my mom.. I was living like this for almost 5 years, when I was waaaay up north in Bardufoss (northern Norway) for 2 years, den 8-9 months closed to Oslo(east part of Norway, closest I lived to home at that time..) and then for the 2 years I had in Stavanger (west part of Norway).

And now that I have been living in the same city(also same city as my parents) for the past 3 years – I still say when going for a visit.. “I’m going to my mom.. I was at my mom’s house!”

History

Well, this one is just due to the fact that I am taking a history class and on Wednesday my teacher was talking about early civilisation… Soil was on of the subjects… Where there was good soil there would be great opportunities to grow food like grain, etc.
So this just concludes that I did pay attention to what I was saying.. (Not just the part about the tourist that fell down some stairs from a tourist site in Mexico…)

Running

To me running in the rain is freedom and a good feeling.. I don’t get cold, I get warm.. I get soaked, but I don’t care..
So when it’s raining it’s the only time I will ever bother to feel O.K. about running..
And rain also makes people run for shelter, busses or whatever.. That’s when I walk..

Weird? Never said that I wasn’t!

I hate running – I don’t run. And if you ever see me run, you should start running too. Because something is probably chasing me.

And with that I’m wishing you all a great weekend :)

While going to school in San Diego, the first year I was there, any time it rained I went out running. Everyone else thought I was mad, of course – and they probably wouldn’t far off, but it was exhilirating. I miss it now that life and work have made it harder to enjoy such a simple pleasure.

  2. I think we took a similar approach to the prompt today. Loved yours…check out mine:
